Novegen, in consortium with PLANET S.A. (Greece) as the leader, has been awarded a major technical assistance project by the Ministry of Finance, Albania, focused on advancing the country’s digital connectivity framework in line with EU standards.
The project, titled “Support to Improve the Legal and Regulatory Framework and Capacities for Digital Connectivity based on EU Acquis”, will support Albania’s ongoing digital transformation and EU integration journey through:
- Alignment of electronic communications legislation with the European Electronic Communications Code (Directive EU 2018/1972)
- Development of measures related to the EU 5G Toolbox for secure and resilient 5G networks
- Strengthening institutional and administrative capacities for the implementation of Albania’s National Broadband Plan
This assignment represents an important opportunity to contribute to the development of a modern, secure, and future-ready digital ecosystem in Albania.
